TRANSFER: University of New Mexico, Patrick Khouri Signed with GBK in Finland

Still in catch-up mode for some junior players, especially in Scandinavia - This is from February.

Former FC Dallas Academy player and University of New Mexico midfielder Patrick Khouri has signed with GBK Kokkola in Kakkonen, the Finnish 3rd division. Patrick, 20,  from Charleston South Carolina has represented USA at U14 and U15 and was chosen as captain when the team played in Atlas, Mexico. Patrick was also captain of the USA in 2009 and 2010 while on the Olympic Development Team

At the University of New Mexico, Khouri had been a member of the Lobo men's soccer program for three seasons, in his parting article he stated that
"I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent The University of New Mexico at the professional level," Patrick Khouri said. "My time here has helped me grow as a person on and off the field and I would like to thank my teammates, Coach Fishbein, Coach Souders, Coach Graczyk and everyone associated with the men's soccer program for helping me achieve a lifelong goal."
It should also be noted that in 2015 he represented Jamaica's U23 National team earning two caps in the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying Tournament, where he represented Jamaica against Haiti and Santo Domingo (so the future tracking as an American player is still up in the air)

GBK is coached by American Player/Coach Chris Cochran and also includes defenders Lawrence Smith, Jossimer Sanchez and (Dual Poland/USA) Center Back Mateusz Brela - so lots of US influence.

GBK play in Finland's Kakkonen (Group C) - Third Tier.
GBK starts it season on April 30th v Narpes Kraft
