TRANSFER: Ex Crew Player Chad Barson Joins FC Linkoping City

Chad Barson has signed with Linkoping City in Sweden's Division 2

Chad Barson, 26-year-old Back from Columbus Ohio, previously with MLS club Columbus Crew SC. Chad spent his college years at Akron as part of the Zips, and represented the USA at U17, U18 & U20
 
On the club web-site Chad said about his about his choice, 

"Almost all American football player dreams of games in Europe and it is important to take the chance when the opportunity opened up. Linkoping is a compound that fits me when they have big ambitions and have eyes on her. I work hard for the team and expect the whole squad to do the same."

Chad joined Linkoping City along with Kyle Knotek, (29) a Defensive Midfielder from Geneva, Illinois, who had played with the team before

Both debuted this Sunday (4/9/2017) a remarkably both scored, in a 3 - 1 win
