The German lower leagues were hit with snow, so many matches were postponed this week (the Winter Break will be here soon enough).
Whatever you think following my start, there are some bright spots that definitely need telling......Maki Tall off the bench at 59 minutes ends the match with a brace of goals and created a PK for Tours. Jonathan Amon got his 2nd start in Denmark and was credited with an assist. Jordan Siebatcheu had two assists for Reims. Travis Bowen scored a goal and had an assist in Macedonia, finally Aaron Schoenfeld scored the winning goal for M.Tel Aviv in Israel.
Mukwelle Akale, Kenny Saief, Royal Fennell and Matthew Olosunde all made appearances as they battle back to fitness.
My final shout out today is for GK Quentin Westberg, who had one of his now rare starts, and saved a PK late in Auxerre's Cup match, that gave a life-line into ET, and a win for his club

Kofi Twumasi and FC Viitorul lose 3 - 2 as they travel to Botosani in a Romanian Cup 1/8 match (between league #4 & #5) Just Kofi's 2nd time in the senior squad (played 18' in a league match) Its known that Kofi played 25' and he had a yellow card in 73rd minute. (tough to get accurate info)
GK Brendan Moore sat on the bench as Rochdale won their Checkatrade play-off with Doncaster, Niall Mason started went all the way to PK's and Scored the first, in a losing effort. Rochdale advance to the 1/8 round on PK's with a 2 - 1 scoreline
Newcastle & DeAndre Yedlin (90) made tough work of their 2 - 2 draw at West Brom. The tie came from an 83rd minute OG, but they all count - right? in the English Premier League. Newcastle break their losing streak with the draw.

Another young up and coming American is doing well at Barcelona's Academy. Today 16 year old Konrad de la Fuente had 3 Assists in a 6 - 2 drubbing of Badalona in Spain's Juvenil B. If you follow at this level you will know that this is unusual as he is more likely to score than assist.
Kai Celestin started on the bench for Sarinena as they win 0 - 2 at Sabinanigo in Spain's Tercera (Group 17) - I have been unable to find any further info at this time
