WEEKLY WRAP: 1.8 through 1.14.2018: All the World's a Friendly Week!

So the Winter Break is winding down in a lot of countries, and that means the friendlies season picks up as clubs start to integrate new players and look to get fitness back on track. Although their are still quite a few more friendlies scheduled, next week will will start to see a restart, and the run to glory, start up again

This week though had some fun stuff.  Josh Sargent played twice for Bremen II and notched an assist in the first and a goal in the other..I like to think that this portends for the future, and another Pulisic rapid rise scenario. Kevin Lankford, who has a little more experience in Germany than Josh, managed 2 matches and scored in each. Mario Rodriguez took advantage of the break getting 2 matches in this week and scoring in one, while Jordan Siebatcheu got back on track and scored Riems 2nd Goal in France Ligue 1. Keaton Parks also became a provider, as he was credited with the assist on Benfica B's 3rd goal.  Not to be left out Goal-keeper Mike Lansing made his senior team debut for Aalborg and got a clean sheet for the record as he kept Randers at bay in an all Danish friendly
