TRANSFERS: Winter 2018 Transfer Window Dates - Open/Close

So its that time of the year again, and if you are like me, I have trouble tracking opens/closes of transfer windows. So here's my list - I figured I would share it, so you can reference it when ever you need to. I intentionally left out many countries, some we have no active Americans playing, some are not in the Euro/Scandinavian region - so please don't troll me for leaving them out.

We are blessed to have players all over the World, some I just have no idea about - if you know of any players that I missed,  please let me know

WEEKLY WRAP: 9.4 thru 9.10.2017: Parks, Autran, Ben On Target, Hill and Gal Brick Walls in Goal

A slow start to the week, and then an explosion of activity as the International window closes. Overall I would rate this weeks action as a 5, kind of blah, but with some stellar performances.

Lets start with Keaton Parks, who had a great outing for Benfica B, scoring a goal and providing another to a team mate. It looks as though Keaton is settling in well at his new club, and certainly the fans seem to like him. Dylan Autran scored twice and basically gave his team the win as he has found his form in Finland. Jann George is on fire in Germany's 2Liga with 2 assists this week he has now accrued 3 goals and 2 assists in just 4 games. Finally, a great story out of Finland where Gerald Ben finished his 5th game at MiKi since joining them, and, he has already scored 6 times. Teaming with MiKi's other American Isaac Kannah one of them has scored in each of the last 5 games.

As for the Goalkeepers, Chris Hill has now played twice for his new club, allowed 1 goal, and today had his first shut out. For Jeff Gal in Sweden it must feel like Christmas all the time - yes another shut-out for Jeff making 11 clean sheets in the league this season in 21 matches (only 2 losses) and the likely-hood of Division 1 soccer next season.

Lets just go to the lists, the short version first, as usual........

GOALS
Isaac Kannah - Finland
Keaton Parks - Portugal
Dylan Autran (2) - Finland
Felix De Bona - Finland
Etch Tabe - Finland
Jacob Bushue - Finland
Leonard Taylor - Sweden
Gerald Ben (2) - Finland

ASSISTS
Keaton Parks - Portugal
Jann George (2) - Germany
Nick Taitague - Germany

SHUT OUTS
Jeff Gal - Sweden
Craig Hill - Finland

......and the longer comprehensive list..

MONDAY

Cameron Carter-Vickers started for Sheffield United U23 in their 1 - 0 win over Crystal Palace U23 in England's PDL. Technically CCV's debut match for 'The Blades' Obviously we would all like to see him playing first team football

Andrew Stadler (90) Alex De John (90) as Dalkurd visited Helsingborg and draw 2 - 2. Dalkurd had an OG and allowed a 90 + ET goal in a match that probably feels like a loss. Dalkurd do take over the top spot (on GD) and look a good bet for promotion to Allsvenskan

Emerson Hyndman (90) in Bournemouth's 0 - 1 home loss to AFC Wimbledon in England's EFL Central League opener. (The Central League is one of the oldest 'reserve' league's in England)

Antonee Robinson (90) as Bolton lose big at home 0 - 3 to Middlesbrough in England's Championship

Tim Ream (90) and Fulham gave up an 83rd minute goal and had to settle for a 1 - 1 draw at home to Cardiff

Substitute Duane Holmes couldn't break through the Blackpool defense and Scunthorpe settle for a goalless draw in League One. Scunthorpe still unbeaten after 6 matches

2 Americans 2 goals and still not enough for Ekenas as Felix De Bona (90) Scores the first and Etchu Tabe (90) Scores the 2nd as they visited league leaders Honka and GK Tim Murray (90) and lost 4 - 2. That 5 straight losses for Ekenas who are hanging on just above the red zone in Finland's Ykkonen. Honka are top on GD in a tight race at the top of the table

Christian Eissele (90 + 2) and Jaro just could not find a way through at KPV in Ykkonen, and leave with a goalless draw against the #3 team in the league.

Jacob Bushue Scored BK-46 4th Goal in a 4 - 0 rout of NuPS in Finland Kakkonen (Group B) That's BK-46 4th straight win

In Kakkonen (Group C) Jossimer Sanchez (90 + yellow) Chris Corcoran (90) and GBK faced of with TP-47 and Jordan Rouse (45) and added another away win to their belts with their 6th straight win, but it may not be enough to catch AC Kajaani who are 5 points ahead in the only promotion spot

Ian Garrett came off the bench at 71', as VIFK had little trouble with PK-37 winning 3 - 0, also in Kakkonen (Group C)

In Scotland's Premier League, GK Danny Rogers was the backup keeper for Aberdeen, as they visited Hearts and came away with a goalless draw and are now tied atop the league with Celtic ahead on GD

Ryan Masch (75 + yellow) as Skovde hold on at home with a 2 - 2 draw with Qviding in Sweden's Division 1 (Sodra) Skovde really needed the win today as they sit tied in the relegation play-off spot on GD

Michael Stewart (90) as Örebro Syrianska hosted Assyriska IF in Sweden's Division 2 (Sodra Svealand) and were held to a 1 - 1 draw. 3 teams on 22 points fighting it out to clear the relegation play-off spot - Orebro Syrianska are ahead on GD

Chad Barson (90) as Linkoping City win 1 - 0 over Motala AIF maintaining their lead and promotion hopes by 9 points in Sweden's Division 2 (Sodra Svealand)

James Gulley and GK Ian McDonald-Wilkins were both unused subs as Karlslunds win 1 - 0 in Sweden Division 2 (Norra Svealand) as noted above, they sit in 2nd place behind Forward, but with a 7 point lead over #3 team, both Forward and Karlslunds are looking good for a promotion run

GK Will Dieterich (90) and Harrison Hanley (89) and the whole team at Haukar will want to forget today's game at Leiknir F. that ended with a 6 - 0 loss. Every season there seems to be a loss like this, for Haukar the timing was awful, what slim chance they had at a promotion run is now dead.....

In Belgium's Jupiler League, GK Ethan Horvath (90) and #1 Club Brugge had a tough loss at #3 Mouscron 2 - 1. Club Brugge are still #1, but only on GD

In Austria Tipico Bundesliga, St Polten with Devante Parker (45) lost at home 1 - 2 to Altach. With just 1 point from the first 7 matches - its probably time to panic at St Polten

Matt Miazga (90) as Vitesse pummel Excelsior 0 - 3 (Shane O'Neill and Desevio Payne - were both on the bench for Excelsior) Vitesse are sitting on 2nd place (on GD) while Excelsior only have 4 points from 4 matches have slipped into the bottom half of the table

Its always a bit of a job, when League One teams pull a Premier League team in a cup game, and to play away from home just adds to the pain. So poor Rochdale and GK Brendan Moore entered the match with just the slimmest of hope, which was quickly crushed as they fall 4 - 0 at Stoke City in EFL

Nebiyou Perry was in the squad, but remained on the bench, as AIK traveled to Varmbols in the Svenska Cupen 2nd round and won 0 - 1

Mix Diskerud started for Goteborg in their 0 - 5 win at, 3rd Division, Landvetter, but unfortunately I cannot tell you if he lasted a minute/the whole game or somewhere in-between. I can tell from the Goteborg website that they played much (if not all) of the 2nd half with their Youth Squad. I have praised the Swedish FA in the past for its wonderful web-site - but I am guessing with minnows still in the competition receiving the detailed info is hard for even them.
