WEEKEND WRAP: Saturday/Sunday 8/13/ and 8/14 2016 - Features Young Americans, 16/17 Seasons begin

Not a good weekend to be late reporting...sorry...Well today (Saturday) starts a new year/season in the major European leagues. It's always an exciting time.

For the future of US soccer, today is especially exciting and this season feels like the future will be on display around the world. In England, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Lyndon Gooch , Emerson Hyndman and Gedion Zelalem are gaining traction in the EPL. The next group are also starting their ascendancy, just a year or 2 behind, McKinze Gaines, Dallas Aminzadeh, Gboly AriyibiMukwelle Akale, Romain Gall and Luca De La Torre - to name just a few of many - just an amazing group of new young Americans on the horizon.....so yes its an exciting time for US Soccer.
