WEEKLY WRAP: 7.17 Thru 7.23.2017: Competitive Matches Smothered by Friendlies

So many friendlies that people are forgetting the competitive matches being played. We had some goals in these games, and with 3Liga and a couple of 2Liga games on the docket it was good to see Joe Gyau get on the board. Lawrence Smith continues to be a top scorer, even though he is a defender, Christian Eissele scored again and JC Mack still splitting the pipes in Iceland. Goalkeepers had a mixed week, but Tim Murray kept a clean sheet in Finland, and Will Dieterich got another win under his belt. In Friendlies, well, Ryan Malone had himself a week, scoring 4 goals, and of course everyone is talking about Christian Pulisic's goal that drew the game with Bochum, and the 2 Assist game against AC Milan. To finish up, Scott Parker and Jon-Paul Pittman both scored winning goals for their clubs, while Alfredo Morales and Joel Sonora both scored as well
