WEEKEND WRAP: 3-24: Friday, Saturday & Sunday - Markedly Reduce Number of Games

If you like to track US Players in the world's lower leagues - well, this is a weekend for you. With the International Break upon us, there were only a few games to track this week, only 1 goal - Jordan Siebatcheu, continues to find success at Chateauroux in France with his 6th goal in 6 games played. Goalkeepers were just a quiet as everyone else, with only Josh Wicks with a shut-out for Sirius, and that was in a friendly. Next week Sweden kicks-off its season so it should provide some fun stats. That's that for this weekend - read on

FRIDAY

Jordan Siebatcheu Scored Chateauroux' 3rd goal as they traveled to Consolat in France's National League and won 1 - 3 (That's 6 goals in 6 matches for his new (loan) club) Chateauroux now #2 in the league

Oscar Ortiz left the game at 88 minutes following 2 Red Cards by the home team, SC Feucht, as they drop points at home in 0 - 1 defeat by DJK Ammerthal in Oberliga (Bayern Nord)

Eric Dent was a substitute in Hawkes Bay's 1 - 0 loss to Auckland City in the Semi-Fianls of the New Zealand Premiership Play-offs. Hawkes Bay finished 4th in the regular season which meant a trip to top place Auckland to progress - a hard task. But a good season for Hawkes Bay and Eric Dent

GK Danny Rogers was an unused sub as Falkirk visited Hibernian in Scotland's Championship and lost 2 - 1 - why you would bench your starting GK, when you are playing at the #1 team defeats me (maybe its injury?) Falkirk are still #2 on GD, and still look a safe bet for a promotional play-off spot
