Interesting day, Hunter Gorskie debut's in Poland, Shawn Parker (brother of Devante) on his 2nd appearance (first start) since recovering from an injury scores for a pitiful Augsburg II, and conspicuous by there absence, the Irish Premier League began today, and our American players didn't make the cut!

Here is the news today

24 year old Defender Hunter Gorskie, who left NY Cosmos for Poland, debuted and started for Legnica in Poland's Division 1 (2nd tier) as they visited Chrobry Glowgow. Hunter went the 90, picked up a yellow in ET, in a 2 - 1 loss

Andrew Wooten got the start for Sandhausen as they visited 1860 in Germany's 2Liga. Andrew went 83 minutes, picked up a yellow, in a 3 - 2 loss

Shawn Parker, back from injury, started for Augsburg II as they took on Schweinfurt in Regionalliga Bayern, Scored the games 1st goal, after 6 mins, in what ultimately ended as a 1 - 1 draw

Kenny Saief was on the bench for Gent as they faced Leuven in Belgium's Jupiler League. Final 1 - 1

Jon-Paul Pittman started on the bench, joined the game in the 83rd minute, in a 0 - 1 win for Grimsby at Forest Green in the Vanarama National League.
Grimsby are now in 3rd position, 8 points ahead, and 3 games in hand, still not enough to catch 2nd place Forest Green, but good enough(right now) to get a promotional playoff spot

Tomorrow looks to be a really busy day, so check back for Saturday's Weekend Wrap.
