WEEKLY WRAP: 11.6 thru 11.12.2017: International Break, Gives me a Break, but There is still Good Stuff in the Lower Leagues

So here we are in the midst of an "international break". Matches are few and far between and limited to lower leagues and friendlies, so don't expect to much detail here this week.

I am starting today with our goal-scoring pair in Slovenia. I have made comment about them before, but it certainly needs repeating. Kyrian Nwabueze at Gorica and Theo (aka Sachem) Wilson at Krka both scored again this week, that's 4 times this season that they both hit the nets together. Theo leads Krka in scoring (7) and Kyrian has scored 4 goals in his 7 matches (3 League / 1 friendly) puts him 2nd in total goals. Great stuff guy's - keep it up

We had 2 players with 2 goals this week, Gboly Ariyibi for MK Dons in England and Maki Tall got 2 in a wipe out cup match (0 - 8 scoreline) and Jordan Siebatcheu continues to score freely in France, where he has 6 goals in 13 appearances. (He had 10 goals for the season last season for Chateauroux in the lower, National League)

A few other notes of interest this week: Young USA Keeper Gabriel Rosario made the bench for the 2nd straight week for Reading U23 (Gabriel is 17 years old). Louis Bennett continues to be a first team choice at Vyskov in the Czech Republic. Ander Egiluz and Khai Celestin both are representing their clubs as regulars in Spain's Tercera, picking up the flag as Shaq Moore and Mukwelle Akale move up to higher the higher Spanish leagues.

OK so not that much to read this week, but still here is the short list......

GOALS
Gboly Ariyibi (2) - England
Kyrian Nwabueze - Slovenia (f)
Theo Wilson - Slovenia
Jordan Siebatcheu - France
