WEEKEND WRAP: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Features 7 Goals, 2 Assists, 4 Shut Outs

Well, not the output we have seen over the past few weeks, but an eventful weekend nevertheless. Joe Gyau makes an appearance for Dortmund II, Josh Gatt scores his first in nearly 2 years, and Bobby Wood sees red (was that really deserving of a straight red?) Lot's of Pro/Rel stuff going on in Scandinavia (as well as Euro spots). Then on Friday we learned that  Ex Tulsa Roughnecks forward, Kyrian Nwabueze was cut by Ararat in Armenia. With...

WEEKEND WRAP: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Features (12) Goals, (3) Assists, & (3) Shut-Outs

Pretty impressive weekend, with Americans playing in 16 country's while scoring 12 goals, getting 3 assists and 3 shut-outs. When you consider that quite a few of the 'lower' leagues where we have a substantial presence have completed their seasons, we have a ton of players out there, everywhere! I'll start with a big shout out to Brian Span and Mariehamn who have won Finland' Veikkausliga and assuming Brian is still there next season he ...

WEEKEND WRAP: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Features 10 Goals, 5 Shut Outs and an Assist

Not a bad weekend for our guys. With a number of smaller leagues completed, a fair number of our regular 'goal-scorers' are finished till next season, so 10 goals is a good harvest. We can always expect a handful of shut outs from our goalkeeper corp (only the country's change) this week Ireland and Japan, get the nod. I didn't see the Frankfurt/Bayern game, but by all report's Timothy Chandler played an exceptional game and got the mention for...

WEEKEND WRAP: Friday/Saturday/Sunday - Yes There Were a Few Games This Weekend!!!

With the International Break, there is not a whole lot of action happening this next week or so. Still, this weekend has not been a total loss. Many of the smaller leagues are still having competitive games especially in Sweden, Denmark & Germany. We had 3 goals in competitive games and 1 in a friendly, no assists, as far as I can see, and we had a shut out in Ireland. OK lets get to the list, as usual short list first, then the full following........The...

WEEKEND WRAP: Friday/Saturday/Sunday Features 7 Goals 3 Shut Outs & 2 Assists

Not the best weekend, referencing the past few weeks....but we did get 7 goals and 3 shut-outs. Finland has completed Kakkonen, and will complete Ykkonen, and Veikkausliiga over the next 2 weeks, with some excitement for US Player followers. Norway is setting up for an incredible final 4 weeks, with 6 teams vying for the 2 Europa League spots. There is equal excitement in Sweden's Allsvenskan and Superettan where we could have a US Player (Brian...
